The preparation of food is far from a revolutionary act; long have we built ourselves rituals around food. We might’ve lost touch with some of it’s realness but we’re coming back around; to the fields & the farmers & the seasons. Eating botanically is the undercurrent of my cooking. It needn’t be thought of as restrictive or stern rather it’s time worn & simple. A celebration of the garden - a mindful approach to one’s plate & appetite.
